Our reproduction is based on a later 18th century model (c. 1785-1790) by August Grenser, Dresden, one of the most distinguished makers, reflecting the Dresden school at the threshold of the Classical era.

This flute comes with a D as well as C foot joint.

Hand-carved key-blocks formed directly from the wood, following historical construction methods. Keys include: Thumb B-flat, G-sharp, short F, D-sharp, C-sharp and C, helps with chromatic notes while the usual cross-fingered notes can still be played.
