• G Clarinet for Classical Period Repertoire

The G clarinet is a rare and historical instrument of the late Classical period. Composers of the Viennese and Central European traditions, including Joseph Haydn, Leopold Hofmann, Johann Georg Albrechtsberger, and Franz Krommer, wrote clarinet parts that could be performed on the G clarinet, especially in flexible wind ensemble and Harmoniemusik scoring.

The keys include a speaker key, A key, E key, F# key for the left hand, along with throat trill key and an Ab key for the right hand.

A reimagining of the clarinet by Thomas Key, the renowned London maker (1805–1853).
