The flute is handcrafted with a precisely made large bore measuring down to 13 mm, along with a carefully undercut embouchure measuring 13 mm in width. Large sized tone holes, including a 9 mm F# tone hole, are proportioned for clear response and strong projection.
Carefully selected Cocobolo wood with polymer rings to match Ivory. The headjoint is brass-lined with a screw-adjustable stopper. The flute is tuned to modern concert pitch at A=440–442 Hz, with a 10 mm tuning-slide opening.
The 8-key simple system extends down to low C and includes keys for C, Bb, G#, short F, long F, D#, C#, and low C. The C# and low C keys comes with a balance-adjuster screw for fine alignment. The keys are nickle plated with steel springs and leather pads.
