Our reproduction is based on an early 18th century model (c. 1725-1730) by Carlo Palanca, Turin, regarded as one of the finest examples of 18th century Italian flute making, fewer than 25 original flutes are known to survive today.
This Palanca model is among the most frequently reproduced Baroque flutes, valued for its versatility and well suited to a broad range of repertoire, including works by Vivaldi, Corelli, Telemann, and J.S. Bach.
