This F clarinet is ideal for basset horn parts where the extended range down to written C is not needed. It is well suited for Classical-period orchestral and chamber repertoire, as well as early music performances.

The keys include a speaker key, A key, E key, and F# key for the left hand, along with throat trill key and an Ab key for the right hand. Additionally, to address the challenge posed by the distance of the F/C key, an extra auxiliary key has been added for easier access.

A reimagining of the clarinet by Thomas Key, the renowned London maker (1805–1853).
